KATHMANDU,The Health Ministry has transferred Dr Gunaraj Lohani, Chief of the hospital(Hetauda) to Arghakhanchi district .
But our KTM correspondent says,All kinds of health services except emergency came to a halt in Hetauda Hospital today due to the protest of the staffers, medical entrepreneurs, civil society members and locals against the transfer of a doctor. They have closed all departments of the hospital except the emergency service. Locals and staffers of the hospital have demanded to revoke Dr Lohani’s transfer. The management and health services in the hospital were improved after Dr Lohani joined here eight months ago, locals said.
